How do I know I’ll get paid my success fee?
We’ve implemented a transparent and legally binding process to protect your earnings.
Once you register your investors on our platform, they are tied directly to you for specific projects.
Your success fee is guaranteed through a contract signed via WP E-Signature, ensuring that you receive 50% of the success fee for every successful deal, paid within 10 business days of PitchMastr receiving the fee from the founder.
What are the payment terms for the success fee?
Once the project founder pays the full success fee to PitchMastr, you will receive your share of the intermediary success fee within 10 business days.
Payments are made via bank transfer, or through another mutually agreed method.
What happens if a founder doesn’t pay the full success fee?
If the founder does not pay the full success fee, unfortunately, we cannot pay the intermediary success fee.
However, PitchMastr only works with reputable founders and conducts thorough due diligence on every project listed.
We have legally binding contracts with each one of them, significantly reducing the likelihood of non-payment.
How do I register my investors on the platform?
After signing up as an intermediary and verifying your account, you can register your investors through your intermediary dashboard.
Simply navigate to the “Add Investors” tab and add your investors by filling out their information, including their name, company name, email, and project you want to introduce them to.
After verification, your investors are registered to your name, viewable under the “My Investors” tab.
Can I register the same investor for multiple projects?
Yes, you can register the same investor for multiple projects, but each registration must be done separately.
Investors are registered per project, meaning your success fee entitlement applies only to the specific project they invest in.
If your investor decides to back another project, you will need to register them again for that project to secure your success fee.
What happens if another intermediary claims to represent the same investor?
In the event that two intermediaries claim to represent the same investor, the intermediary who first registers the investor for a particular project will have the legal claim to the success fee.
Our system tracks registration timestamps, ensuring that disputes are resolved transparently and fairly.
How can I track the status of my investors and potential earnings?
You can easily track your investors, their registration status, and your potential earnings through your intermediary dashboard.
In the “My Investors” tab, you’ll see a list of all registered investors, the projects they’re tied to, and their investment details.
You’ll also be able to view the timestamp of their registration, which helps resolve any disputes over representation.
What happens if two or more investors invest in the same project?
If multiple investors, each represented by different intermediaries, invest in the same project, we will allocate the success fee proportionally based on the amount invested by each investor.
For example, if Investor A invests 70% of the total funds and Investor B invests 30%, the intermediaries representing these investors will receive 70% and 30% of the intermediary success fee, respectively.
Can I work on more than one project at a time?
Absolutely! As an intermediary, you can promote and facilitate investment for multiple projects listed on PitchMastr.
Each project will have its own success fee, and as long as you register your investors for each individual project, you will be entitled to your share of the intermediary success fee for every successful deal your investors make.
What is the process for signing the contract?
The entire process is handled online using WP E-Signature, a UETA/ESIGN/GDPR compliant plugin.
Once you sign up as an intermediary, you’ll be prompted to sign the legally binding intermediary project promotion agreement.
This contract guarantees your share of the success fee and outlines the terms for working with PitchMastr.
Once signed, you’ll have full access to the platform and can start registering investors.
What types of investors can I register?
You can register a wide range of investor types, including Angel Investors, Family Offices, Venture Capitalists, Private Equity Funds, Corporate Investors, Crowdfunding Investors, and many more.
Essentially, any entity or individual with the legal standing and financial means to invest in a project can be registered under your name, provided they haven’t been registered by another intermediary for the same project.
Can I collaborate with other intermediaries?
Yes, you can collaborate with other intermediaries if you choose, but it is important to agree on how the success fee will be divided between you.
If two or more intermediaries collaborate on behalf of one investor, they must arrange the fee-sharing between themselves.
PitchMastr will pay the success fee to the registered intermediary, and you will be responsible for distributing it among your collaborators.
